This policy explains the information involved when you use the app, why it is processed and the choices available to you. Poison Studio LLC is responsible for the processing described as ours in this policy.

Information Collection and Use

No accounts and local personalization

EmojiPop does not have user accounts. Your settings, presets and photos selected as backgrounds are stored locally on your device. We do not upload those photos or your personalization settings to our servers. Choosing a background photo does not give us access to the rest of your photo library.

Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes its local app data. Photos you originally selected from your device remain in their original location unless you delete them yourself. Android backup and restore, if enabled on your device, are governed by your system settings and Google's policies.

Accessibility Service

EmojiPop uses an Accessibility Service only to:

Display the custom status bar, animated pets and stickers over the screen.

Perform actions you assign to status bar gestures, such as navigation, opening notifications or Quick Settings, locking the screen, taking a screenshot, activating the flashlight or opening an app.

Identify the foreground application's package name so decorations can be hidden in the apps you select.

The service does not read or collect screen text, passwords, messages or other content from the applications you use. It does not transmit accessibility data, including foreground app names, to us, advertising networks or analytics providers. A screenshot is taken only when you invoke a gesture assigned to that action; the service does not analyze screen content. You can disable the service at any time in Android's Accessibility settings, which stops the features that depend on it.

These statements concern the Accessibility Service. They do not mean that advertising, analytics or network requests operate without data processing; those activities are explained below.

Camera, photos and notifications

Camera permission is used only to operate the flashlight through an assigned gesture. EmojiPop does not use the camera to take photos or record video. A photo background is a photo you select from your device, not one captured by the app.

Where Android requires notification permission, it is used for app and service notifications. You can manage this permission and notification visibility in Android settings. EmojiPop does not use notification permission to read your messages or other apps' notifications.

Advertising and mediation

EmojiPop uses Google AdMob and advertising mediation with Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Pangle and Liftoff/Vungle. Depending on the network, your region, your choices and the type of ad served, these services may process:

Your Android advertising ID or other permitted advertising identifiers.

IP address and approximate location inferred from it.

Device model, operating system, app version, language and other technical device information.

Ad requests, impressions, clicks and other interactions with ads.

The purposes include delivering and measuring ads, frequency control, fraud prevention and, where permitted by your consent or applicable law, ad personalization. Ad partners may process this information under their own policies and may receive it directly through their SDKs. We do not provide them with accessibility data or your selected background photos.

We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy information and obtain or manage consent where required, including for the GDPR and applicable US state privacy laws. You may revisit the app's privacy choices to withdraw consent or change available advertising preferences. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Where required, optional processing waits for consent. Non-personalized or limited ads may still involve technical data processing.

Premium removes advertising from EmojiPop and provides full access to its content. Additional content can also be unlocked by watching rewarded video ads, so a Premium purchase is not required to access that content. Premium does not by itself disable analytics, remote configuration, Google Play processing or content delivery.

Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how EmojiPop is used and improve the app. Data can include usage events, an app instance identifier, device and app information, and approximate country inferred from IP address. Google Analytics uses IP addresses to derive approximate geography; this is distinct from requesting precise device location.

Firebase Remote Config delivers app configuration and may process a Firebase installation identifier and technical request information. Where it is used together with Analytics, usage information can help determine the configuration delivered. These services do not receive screen text, passwords, messages or foreground app names from the Accessibility Service.

Content Delivery and Log Data

The app downloads content from our server and through our content delivery provider, Cloudflare. Those requests necessarily expose an IP address and technical information such as request time, requested resource, app or client information and response status. Our server and CDN may retain these details in logs to deliver content, diagnose problems, secure the service and prevent abuse. Selected personal photos are not uploaded as part of content delivery.

Google Play Purchases

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your card number, bank account details or other payment credentials. Purchase status, product and transaction identifiers or purchase tokens may be processed to provide and verify Premium access. Google processes payment and account information under its own policies.

Support Correspondence

If you contact support@poison-studio.am, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and keep necessary support records. Please do not send passwords, payment credentials or unrelated sensitive information.

Third-Party Service Providers

The following links describe the providers' data practices and available choices:

Google Privacy Policy — Google Play and Google services

Google advertising technologies — AdMob

Firebase Privacy and Security — Analytics and Remote Config

Meta Privacy Policy — Audience Network

AppLovin Privacy Policy

Unity Privacy Policy — Unity Ads

Mintegral Privacy Policy

Pangle regional end-user privacy policies

Liftoff Privacy Policy — including Vungle

Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Third-party SDKs may use local identifiers or similar technologies for the purposes above. Their practices vary by service, region and privacy choices. Links opened from the app can lead to sites operated by others; review their policies before providing information.

Why We Process Data and When We Share It

We process the information described above to provide requested features and purchases, deliver content, answer support requests, protect the service, understand usage and support the app with advertising. Where applicable, the legal bases are performance of our agreement with you, consent for processing that requires it, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service and responding to support, and compliance with legal obligations. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where the law provides that right.

Data is disclosed to the providers above as needed for their services. Advertising disclosures may be treated as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising under some US state laws; use the available privacy choices to opt out where applicable. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect legal rights, security or users. We do not sell your local photos, screen content or accessibility data.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Use the app's privacy choices to review available consent and advertising options.

In Android settings, reset or delete the advertising ID where supported and manage ad privacy settings. Menu names depend on your Android version. This limits future use of that identifier but does not automatically delete information already held by providers.

Revoke Accessibility, camera or notification permissions in Android settings. Dependent features will no longer work.

Clear app storage or uninstall EmojiPop to remove local app data. This does not automatically erase server logs, support records or provider-held data.

Contact support@poison-studio.am to request access, deletion or help exercising other rights. Because there is no EmojiPop account, we may need limited information to locate the relevant records and verify your request. We cannot identify every device record from an email address alone.

For information held independently by an advertising provider or Google, you can also use the controls and contact methods in that provider's policy. We will assist with requests relating to data under our control.

Data Retention

Local settings, presets and selected background data remain on your device until you remove or replace them, clear app storage or uninstall the app, subject to any system backup you control. We keep support records and technical logs only for as long as reasonably needed for their stated purposes, security, resolving disputes and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify them. Provider-held advertising, analytics, configuration and billing records follow the provider's retention rules and our applicable service settings. There is no single retention period covering all these different records; contact us for information about a specific category or deletion request.

International Processing and Security

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required by applicable law, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as recognized adequacy mechanisms or contractual protections. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and access to it secure.

Children's Privacy

EmojiPop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and delete information within our control as appropriate. Where a higher age for valid consent applies, that local requirement also applies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when the app, our providers or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We will provide additional notice or seek consent when required by applicable law.

Contact Us

For privacy questions, requests or concerns, contact Poison Studio LLC at support@poison-studio.am.

Effective date: 17 October 2026 Poison Studio LLC provides EmojiPop (Android package app.emojipop.battery.status.bar), a personalization app available with advertising and an optional ad-free Premium offering.
